Tucked amidst conservation land just outside of Norwood in Norfolk County, Brookmeadow Country Club is one of the best public courses in the region.
Brookmeadow Golf Course is one of the 7 golf courses in the Canton area and is also one of the three public courses in the region.
The course lies 30 minutes south of Boston and 42 minutes north of Providence.
Brookmeadow is a labor of love of founder Frank Simoni who wanted to build the premier public golf course in the area – a passion that is now pursued by his family.
The course is typically closed from December through to the end of February in line with the weather of the region.
Brookmeadow Country Club Golf Course
The 200-acre Brookmeadow Golf Course was built in 1968 and was designed by Sam Mitchell.
This is a family-owned public course that is well-maintained and considered to be one of the best in the region.

This beautiful course has all the fairways that are tree-lined and open. The course has a nice layout.
Although the fairways are forgiving, it’s a great course for players that can hit straight, or else the trees might have a say in the outcome. The greens are mostly flat and roll true and are average in size.
The course is very flat with no undulations or elevation changes and is considered to be a walking course.
This is a fun and playable course, and with 3 sets of tees, can provide enough challenge to both scratch and novice golfers.

Course Layout
riving Range
The facility has a large driving range with several targets ranging from 50 to 250 yards.
For short-game practice, a large green is also available for putting and chipping. The range is open between 7 AM and 7 PM.
Tee Times
Brookmeadow Golf provides 50 tee time slots with 2-4 players in each slot between the hours of 8 AM and 3:30 PM. Please visit the course website for bookings.
Golf Course Dress Code
Proper golf attire is required at Brook Meadow. Collared shirts are required for men. Metal spikes are not allowed.
Membership Cost/Price
No membership options are available at present at Brook Meadow.
Restaurant – Menu
Brookmeadow has a full-service grill and bar restaurant that serves an assortment of snacks and beverages.
In addition to it, the facility also has a halfway house between holes 9 & 10 and beverage carts. The food here is highly recommended.
The clubhouse can accommodate up to 225 guests for weddings and events.
Pro Shop
The pro shop at Brookmeadow Course stocks equipment, accessories, and apparel from all the top brands. The shop is open from May through September.
The facility has a golf academy and certified professionals from the golf school provide instructions using state-of-the-art technology for students at every skill level.
