Situated 12 minutes outside of Cortland, NY, is the Elm Tree Golf Course.
Nestled amongst swathes of pastures and farmlands, the course is also one of the many that call the Finger Lakes region their home.
This is also one of the 4 golf courses in the Cortland area.
The course is typically closed during the winter season.
Elm Tree Golf Course
The course was built in 1966 and designed by Alden Jones
The course is on hilly terrain with lots of elevation changes and that can trip up some players as it’s difficult to spot the hole.
The fairways are wide and open and can be forgiving and have hardly any hazards, be it water, sand, or trees. It’s a fun course to play, but the undulations can play spoilsport.
Measuring 6360 yards from the back tees, this course is not particularly long, and with 4 sets of tees can be challenging and fun for golfers at all skill levels.
