This is a beautiful course with nice scenic views of Furnace Bay with a pretty Georgian-style clubhouse.
This is a fairly challenging course although beginners would find this course to be fair.
The layout is distinctive with some unique holes. There are quite a few doglegs, especially on the front 9’s.
The interesting thing about the doglegs is that they are all 90 degrees or lower at the angle of the curve. And that makes for blind shots. The back 9’s will help compensate for the losses on the front, which is considered to be less challenging.
Shot accuracy is rewarded as the landing areas are narrow with pinch-necked greens.
The course is a short one measuring only 6330 yards from the tips and there is only 1 hole that measures more than 500 yards.
There are 4 sets of tee boxes that cater to golfers at all skill levels for a challenging and fun round of golf.
This is an ideal course for family outings as well as for beginners.

Layout
Driving Range
Furnace Bay has a driving range for long-game practice.
A practice putting green with chipping and pitching area is available for short-game training.
Dress Code
Golf attire is not required. Metal spikes are not allowed.
Restaurant – Menu
The snack bar serves breakfast, and lunch as well as snacks and beverages.
The facility also has indoor and outdoor seating including a gazebo.
The open-air pavilion behind the clubhouse can host events and outings.
Pro Shop
The fully-stocked pro shop at Furnace Bay provides golf equipment and attire.
A PGA instructor is available for golf lessons, on all aspects of the game.
