Lake Lindero Country Club (Scorecard | Rates)
The golf course at Lindero Country Club is a 9-hole course that is cozily tucked away underneath the foothills of Agoura.
The course also borders Westlake Village and Santa Monica mountains on the other side with the shores of Malibu just 26 minutes away.
Due to the topography of the region, Lake Lindero is also one of the few courses in the area.
The course is open for play year-round.
Lake Lindero Golf Course
The Lake Lindero golf course was built in 1967 and was designed by Ted Robinson, Sr.
Holes | Par | Rating | Slope | Yards | Type |
9 | 29 | 29.7 | 96 | 1695 | Semi-Private |
The course is an executive with 9 holes and measures 1690 yards with the longest hole at 300 yards.
So, it’s an ideal course for your short game and there are only 2 par-4s with no par-5s. So, leave your driver behind and bring in the irons.
The layout is split between 6 holes on the clubhouse side and 3 across the street. So, if you are in the mood only for 6, a 6-hole option is available too.
The fairways are tight and narrow and there is a creek that runs through the course with water coming into play in a couple of holes in the form of ponds. The course meanders through the neighborhood, and you may also find houses that line fairways on certain holes.
Accuracy is rewarded or else be ready to lose a few balls.
The course layout can be a bit confusing if you are new here, but “stick to the right side” may help.
This is a walking course only and no golf carts are available here.
With 2 sets of tees, this is a challenging course for beginners and seniors and a fun course for skilled golfers who are looking for a quick round of golf.
The course also hosts footgolf. For those of you who are wondering what the heck it is – it’s golf played with soccer balls, and instead of clubs, you use your feet to hit the ball.
