Situated under the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in Los Angeles is the 9-hole executive Rancho Duarte Golf Course.
The course is 16 minutes to the east of Pasadena and just a few minutes from Covina.
The course is open for play year-round.
Ranch Duarte Golf
Ranch Duarte Golf Course was built in the year 1982 and was designed by William Bell.

Racho Duarte is fondly referred to as the “practice course” by those who have played here and is a great course to work on your short game.
So, bring your irons and leave the driver behind. Although it’s only 9 holes, it has 4 par-4s which is kind of a rarity in 9-hole courses.
This executive style 9-hole course has no par-5’s and so is an ideal one for beginners and seniors as well as for someone who’s been out of practice for some time and would want to get back in the game.
Also, for people who are short on time and want a quick round of play.
The course also gets a lot of footfall for the practice range and is tightly and nicely laid out around the range.
Measuring only 1635 yards total from the back tees, this course is a short hop and wouldn’t beat you up either. In short, a fun course for everyone.

Layout
Driving Range
The course although is only 9-holes has a big driving range and in fact, is the most popular aspect of the course where a lot of people visit just for the range.
However, it’s not long, so don’t expect to hit the drivers. This is a lighted driving range so you can swing some balls late into the evening.
Chipping and putting areas are available for short game practice.
Tee Times
The tee time hours start at 7 AM for the morning sessions and end at 3:40 PM for the twilight sessions with a total of 26 slots with each slot accommodating up to 4 players.
