Riverby Golf Course (Scorecard | Rates)
Nestled amongst the farmlands of Ohio and abutting the Maumee River is the Riverby Golf Course, situated in Bowling Green, OH.
The course is 23 minutes south of Toledo and 12 minutes from Perrysburg.
This charming semi-private course is also one of the 3 courses in the Bowling Green area.
The facility is generally closed from mid-December through to February.
River Hills Golf Club Perrysburg
This semi-private course was built in 1925 and is part of 4 courses based in Ohio. The club has also hosted local and state-level open championships.

The front 9’s play pretty flat, long, and straight and is roughly 200 yards longer than the back 9’s, from the back tees. There is also one hole that measures 620 yards in length.
The fairways are open and wide with the front 9’s different from that of the back.
The roughs are however penalizing so, as long as you get the ball onto the fairways, reaching the greens should not be a difficult task.
Although the course is not that wooded and trees are sparse, some can block the view. The flowering trees provide the charm for the course.
The back 9’s are challenging compared to the front as there are elevation changes In addition to the water hazards that are present on some of the holes. There are some blind shots too which can make it even more difficult for a beginner or even an average golfer.
Selecting the right set of tee for the skill level will help with better scoring and overall experience.
This combination of longer front 9’s with trickier back 9’s makes this a fun and challenging course to play.
Measuring 6853 yards from the back tees and with 4 sets of tees, this course is not short and is challenging at all skill levels.

The facility has a driving range for swing practice, a pitching and chipping area for short-game practice as well as a putting green.
