Round Valley Golf Course is situated in Morgan, Utah; high up in the mountains and tucked away cozily in the Morgan Valley.
The facility that also includes an RV campground is 46 minutes away from Salt Lake City and 31 minutes from Ogden.
This public course is also the only one in the area and is privately owned.
The course is generally closed for play from mid-November through to the end of February.
Round Valley Golf Course Morgan, Utah
Round Valley Golf Course was built in the year 1969 and designed by Mark Dixon Ballif.
The front 9’s and the back 9’s were built 20 years apart and that shows in the texture of the course with the older one more aged and classical and the newer one being modern and edgier.

The course is positioned well with a stunning backdrop of the mountains. You have great scenery to ogle at in every hole. The Weber river snakes its way around the course, and the course and surroundings are dotted with creeks and water bodies providing it with a tranquil experience.
The facility also accommodates a camping ground for RVs.
Gorgeous is how you can describe the views of the valley and mountains from all the angles your eyes can peer at. The course is worth a visit just for these vistas and the bonus is that it’s a very walkable course too.
The course is wide and flat, and so is forgiving, especially the front 9’s as it was built 20 years before the back 9’s, which is more challenging.
The front is also pretty straight with not many hazards except the bunkers near the green, so you can spray and pray.
Measuring 6770 yards from the back tees, this is a medium-length course. With 4 sets of tees, the course can be fun and challenging for players at all skill levels.
