Three Ridges Golf Course is situated in Knoxville, Tennessee. The course lies to the north of the city, around 24 minutes away by road.
The course is a little over 3 hours from Nashville and Atlanta.
The is also one of the two municipal courses in the Knoxville area.
The facility is open of play year-round, weather permitting
Three Ridges Golf Course Knoxville, TN
Three Ridges Golf Course was built in 1991 and designed by Ault, Clark & Associates.
The course was also named as one of the best places to play in Tennessee by Golf Digest.
The facility also hosts some of the biggest state and local tournaments.

The golf course is phenomenally beautiful with a serene setting. The course sits amidst thickly wooded colorful trees that make it very pretty.
Perched on top of a ridge, you’ll also get panoramic vistas of the neighboring Great Smoky Mountains.
The course is hilly with marked elevation changes and as you can imagine the course can be a challenging one due to this.
The fairways are open and wide with not many hazards. So it’s not unduly penal. As long as you can get the ball onto the fairways you shouldn’t have any issues. Otherwise, be prepared to lose a few.
The course has a total of 63 strategically placed bunkers.
There is a healthy mix of par 3’s, 4’s, and 5’s with the longest being the par-5 7th that measures 600 yards from the back tees.
There are blind tee shots if you are playing from the back, but, you’ll get a good view of the greens.
Measuring a tad over 7000 yards in length, the course can play lengthy. With four sets of tees, this course can be fun and challenging for both novice and experienced players.

Three Ridges has a driving range for the long-game practice as well as a putting green and chipping area with a sand bunker for the short game.
Dress Code
Metal spikes are not allowed on the course.
Membership Cost/Price
This is a municipal course and no membership options are available.
However, annual passes are available with discounted green fee rates including passes for seniors.
Restaurant – Menu
The dining facility at Three Ridges, including an outdoor pavilion, serves snacks and beverages.
The clubhouse can also host events and parties.
Pro Shop
The Three Ridges pro shop is fully stocked with golf apparel, accessories, and gear.
PGA instructors are available for golf lessons.
