Holmes Park Golf Course was built in 1952 by course architect Floyd Farley.

The course gets its name from Holmes Park and Lake that encapsulates the course into a semi-peninsula.
The course sits bang in the center of Lincoln and is easily accessible from all parts of the city. The lake is an added attraction as well as the observatory and park on the premises.
This is a pretty course for a municipal course. The fairways are long and open and are forgiving and the greens are big. Like many municipal courses, this one is built for the average golfer but is challenging.
The course has an interesting layout where a lot of holes converge at a single location.
Measuring 6790 yards from the back tees this is a medium-length course with only 1 hole that measures more than 500 yards.
There are 4 sets of tees to choose from, and with the right set of tee, anyone can make this a challenging and fun course in line with their skill level.

Layout
Driving Range
Overlooking the lake and park, Holmes has a nice driving range with 18 hitting spots for long-game practice which is one of the popular features of this course.
Putting green as well as pitching and chipping areas are available for short-game prep.
Dress Code
Golf attire is not required. Metal spikes are not allowed.
