The course is an hour’s drive from Portland and takes a little over 2 hours from Seattle.
The facility is open for play year-round, weather permitting.

Mint Valley Golf Course was built in 1976 and designed by course architects Ron Freem and Associates.
The facility also has a 6-hole par-3 course for learners and beginners and for those who want to skill up on their short game.

Mint Valley is a beautiful course nestled at the foothills of Longview Heights to the north and the Columbia River to the south.
It’s an understatement to call this course beautiful, which has fairways lined with trees, and autumnal foliage firing up the grounds in Fall.
The course is serene and calm. You also just might spot some coyotes and deers lounging around.
The course has a nice linear layout. The grounds are flat without undulations and so is walkable. However, the greens are undulating and large, and the course has Jekyll and Hyde character to it.
The course is challenging without being overly tough. The front 9’s have some tight fairways where accuracy is required. There are a couple of right and left doglegs that require fades and draws and that will keep the golfer guessing.
There aren’t many sand bunkers, but the ones that are there are placed strategically, and water comes into play on a lot of holes. This is a thinking golfer’s course with club selection playing a major role, especially on the front 9’s.
A risk-reward course where accuracy is rewarded and errant shots are not overly penalized.
Measuring 6430 yards from the back tees, this is a short course and will not beat you up if you decide to toss the cart out and go walking.
With 3 sets of tees, golfers at all levels would be able to enjoy the course.

Layout
Driving Range
Mint Valley has a covered and lighted driving range for swing practice. A practice putting and chipping green is also available for the short game.
Dress Code
Proper golf attire is not required at Mint Valley. Metal spikes are not allowed.

Mint Valley has a fully-stocked golf shop for golf equipment and gear.
Instructors are on hand for a variety of golf lessons for adults, juniors, beginners, and advanced golfers.
Mint Valley also hosts The First Tee program aimed at youth development through golf.
