Sheraton Panama City Beach Golf Course – Bay Point Nicklaus Course

This Jack Nicklaus designed course is the only one in Northwest Florida designed by Jack Nicklaus Design.

The course that has views of St. Andrews Bay features 18 holes with lengths ranging from 4100 to 7152 yards.

The par 72 course has a slope of 137 and was opened to public play in 2018.

This property underwent a renovation in 2014 and opened again in 2015 with a major restructuring of bunkers, greens, fairways, and tees.

The course features pines, saltwater marshes, and scrub oaks which is the natural terrain of the region.

The course has hosted US Open local qualifiers and is also the FSU women’s golf team’s home course.

This facility has a driving range with a pitching and chipping area with a golf school academy.

Bay Point Meadows course is closed in Nov 2018 due to destruction caused by Hurricane Michael. The reopening date is still not fixed.

This course was built in 1973 and was designed by Willard Byrd.

A notable feature of this course is its heavily wooded mature oaks and pines that line the fairways.

At 6900 yards, it has the length to test the long hitters and is also forgiving for less experienced players.

The course also has numerous bunkers that will test the limit of your skills.

Signal Hill Golf Course

Signal Hill is a golf course that is located on Thomas Dr., which offers spectacular views of St. Andrews bay.

The course was built in 1962 by John Sherman.

The 18 hole golf course is par 71 with a length of 5617 yards and a slope of 118.

The course has a 3.9 rating out of 5.

The facility has no driving range but has a putting green.

Signal Hill is also the only fully public golf course in Panama City Beach.

The fees range from $37 for a 9-hole walking to $57 for an 18-hole with a cart.

Designed by Tom Fazio, the Camp Creek Golf Course is set amidst the natural beauty and the white sands and turquoise waters of Watersound.

This course is part of Watersound Club that has a collection of several golf properties across Northwest Florida.

This is an 18-hole par 72 golf course with a length of 7200 yards and a slope of 152.

A feature of this course is the very few flat lies unlike the flat terrains found in Florida.

Another USP of the course is that the natural flora of the course is a habitat to very diverse wildlife with no visible houses around.

The course also features wildlife corridors that enable the movement of animals without hindrance and is also the recipient of several wildlife conservation and environmental certificates.

This is a Greg Norman-designed course, built in 2002.
